Pricing for 2021. (2020 full.)

These are our typical red stag hunting packages available; you can customise your own hunting package for your requirements to suit your needs, additional species can be added for applicable trophy fees.

Prices include all New Zealand taxes and including GST of 15%

Hunting season for red stags & fallow bucks March 1st to August 15th.

Hunting season for turkey, arapawa rams and pacific goats all year.

Hunting season for waterfowl May--June

Fishing season October to June 30th.

Red stag package gold, five days all inclusive, stag scoring 340—399 sci $ 8,490 .

Red stag package elite, five days all inclusive, stag scoring 400---449 sci $13,990 .

Red stag package elite plus, five days all inclusive, stag scorning 450---500 poa.

Additional Species...

Pacific goat   $950

Arapawa ram $950

Fallow buck 200+sci $3000

Management animals poa.

Duck hunting $500 per day if not trophy hunting, this is complimentary when trophy hunting.

Turkey hunting $500 per day, limit 2 birds per hunter, this is complimentary when trophy hunting

Daily rate non hunter, $250 per day  

Fly fishing, $1000 per day.

What is included with five day packages...

Five days/nights accommodation

Exclusive lodgings and hunting, no other hunters.

Local airport transfers and all hunt transport costs.

All cuisine, beer and wine

Full guiding, guides are New Zealanders and are experienced.   

Trophy animal and small game shooting, each hunter will be given opportunities to shoot possums rabbits turkeys ducks etc.

Field prep of trophies also most often photo opportunities with racks boiled and cleaned after hunt

Photographic services.

Transport of trophies capes etc to New Zealand taxidermist for processing.

What is not included with five-day packages.

Expediting/taxidermy/ shipping of trophies

Rifle hire and costs of ammunition

Gratuities.   

Booking procedure...

Booking your New Zealand hunt of a lifetime is easy with Ample Hunting.

We require a non-refundable 30% booking fee this secures your dates and contract with us

Payment is best by direct money transfer, when payment is recognised, we send an official receipt and contract which outlines and seals our requirements for your hunt and stay. 

Full payment is required at the conclusion of your hunt, this may be made by credit card or cash, no cheques please. Please note we accept Visa Mastercard and debit cards , we don’t accept American Express. Please notify your bank prior to leaving that you would be making this transaction.

When you book a hunt there will be no other hunters - these are exclusive lodging and hunting services.

Please note : when making a bank transfer you must pay relevant bank fees.

Please inform us of any prior medical conditions, allergies or dietary requirements before you book.

Points to ponder...

Ample Hunting does not raise the price with 20 inch brackets. We are perhaps the only hunting outfitter in New Zealand that has a set price for Gold Stags which range from 340 to 399, please feel free to shop around and view other New Zealand outfitters rates, then drop us a line we would like to hear from you. 2017 2018 average stag scores were over 370.

With Ample Hunting a booked hunts price does not change once the deposit has been paid even during exchange rate fluctuations .

Should you miss out on shooting your trophy animal no additional payment than your 30% booking fee is required, (this has not happened as yet with Ample Hunting)

Our hunt stays are five days in duration, we do not ask you to leave once you have taken your animals, we will leave that to some of our competitors....

If the guide judges the stag to be under 400 and it scores over 400 then no additional payment is required.
